10.TUNGA LIFT

	Tunga Lift Irrigation  Scheme  envisages  to  lift water from foreshore of  Upper  Tunga  dam to  stabilise  irrigation  of  1,708 ha. under minor irrigation tanks with an utilisation of 1.43 TMC of water.
	Preliminary designs under preparation.
	The scheme comes under reserve forest area. The main UTP  is facing problems of diversion of forest land and as such, major trust on this LIS is not being given.
