9. GANDORINALA

The project comprises an earthen dam across Gandorinala near Belkota      village in Gulbarga district to irrigate 8,094 Ha.
ØDam & allied works
•Earthen dam work completed, except filling of gorge portion for which tenders are invited.
•Spillway concreting works in progress over 95 % concreting completed.
•The work of supply and erection of radial crest gates awarded to M/s. TSP Ltd., on tender basis and same is in advance stage of progress.
ØR&R master plan prepared and works in rehabilitation centers under progress.
ØCanal works
•Right Bank Canal work of 7 Kms under progress.
•Out of 94 Km of left bank canal tenders under finalisation  for Km. 0 to 5 and tenders accepted for Km. 5 to 20.
•Estimates under preparation for Km 21 to 40.
•Surveys under progress for Km. 41 to 94.
•Survey work of distributory network completed and preparation of estimates being taken up.
