Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Ltd., Bangalore for the following
work.

(3) The application requesting for issue of tender documents
will be received
on 5th and 6th August 2002 between 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m.
in the office mentioned in para (4). The cost of blank tender
booklet per set inculding K.S.T. and Surcharge is Rs. 20,000.00
(Rupees twenty thousand only). It is non-refundable and shall
be in the form of crossed Demand Draft or Bankers Cheque of
a Scheduled Bank drawn in fovour of Executive Engineer, W.R.D.,
I.P.C. Division No.2, Koralli, Camp Afzalpur payable at State
Bank of Mysore, Gulbarga Branch and shall be attached with the
application. The contractor shall specify in his application
form the office from which he will collect the tender documents,
otherwise it will be presumed that he will be collecting the
tender documents from the office of the Executive Engineer,
W.R.D., IPC Division No.2, Koralli Camp, Afzalpur. (4) The tender
Documents will be issued on 26th and 27th of August 2002
between 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. on production of copy of
valid enrolment certificate. Blank tender documents will be
issued in the following offices: (i) Registered Office of K.N.N.L.,
4th floor, Coffee Board Building, Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore
- 560 001. (ii) Office of the Chief Engineer, W.R.D. Irragation
Project Zone, Gulbarga -582 102
(iii) Office of the Chief Engineer, W.R.D., IPC Division No.2,
Koralli Camp, Afzalpur -585 310, Gulbarga Dist. (5) The completed
bids duly superscribed with the name of the work shall be received
at any of the above mentioned offices on 16th and 17th September
2002 between 11.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. The tender documents
will be opened on 20th September 2002 at 11.00 a.m or
any other convenient day in presence of the tenderers or their
representatives by the Executive Engineer, W.R.D., IPC Division
No., Koralli, Camp Afzalpur at this office. (6) Earnest Money
Deposit should be paid in the form of Demand Draft / Banker's
Cheque / Bank Guarantee or any Nationalised Bank drawn in fovour
of Executive Engineer, WRD, I.P.C. Division No. 2, Koralli,
Camp: Afzalpur payable at State Abnk of Mysore, Gulbarga Branch.
(7) The KNNL reserves the right of accepting or rejecting any
or all the tenders without assigning any reason. (8) The successful
bidder shall have to produce an additional bank guarantee for
the difference amount below 25% (if quoted rates are below 25%
of estimated rates), before executing the agreement with KNNL.
(9) The total works on hand in KNNL with one contractor should
not exceed Rs. 20.00 crores (Rupees twenty crores only) and
this would be exculding any major works like dam, Lift Irrigation
ect. of specified nature. The contractors should enclose a statement
showing lists of works on hand in KNNL alongwith amount put
to tender in the tender document. (10) Any additional Information
/ clarification can be obtained from the office of the undersigned
during office hours on working days.
