Tenders are invited in the prescribed forms through manual cum electronic tendering system on behalf of Managing Director, KNNL, 4th Floor, Coffee Board Building, No.1, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore – 560 001 from the eligible consultants / agencies who have enrolled in the list of empanelment of KNNL

             The receipt of application, issue of blank tender documents and receipt of he completed tender document will be at any of the following offices.

  1. Office of the Executive Engineer, KNNL, UTP, Quality Control Division, Shimoga
  2. Office of the Chief Engineer, KNNL, UTP, UTP Zone, Shimoga
  3. Central Office of KNNL,WALMI, Building, Belur-Road  Dharwad,
  4. Registered office of KNNL, 4th Floor Coffee Board Building Dr.Ambedkar  Veedhi Banglore

 

   While applying the contractor should  specify the office from where he wishes to collect the blank tender documents.

For electronic tendering system:

  1. The blank tender documents can be obtained through web site www.knnlindia.com and by linking to e-tender (i.e., once you are in the website, click on e-tender wizard which will link www.tenderwizard.com where electronic tendering is provided) and can be submitted through electronic tender box available therein.
  2. Bidder may obtain the user ID and password for participating in e-tendering in KNNL by requesting in writing to the Registered Office, KNNL, Bangalore on or before  9.8.2007
  3. Bidders to submit request for e-tendering document on payment of amount specified in the table (non refundable) by demand draft or bankers cheque drawn in favour of Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited on any Schedule Bank / Nationalised Bank payable at Shimoga in the office of the Executive Engineer, Quality Control Division,UTP  Shimoga on or before  13.8.2007.

                                                                                                                

  1. Bidders shall scan and upload the EMD document and original EMD document shall be submitted in person at Registered office of K.N.N.L. Banglore  on 18.8.2007 during 10.00 to 11.00am.  The EMD should be in the form of DD or Bank Guarantee of a Nationalised or Scheduled Bank drawn in favour of Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited, payable at Shimoga..
  2. Bidder to attach his scanned signature to the financial bid before uploading.
  3. Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected.
  4. Accepting authority shall have right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reasons.
  5. The validity period for E.M.D. shall be for a minimum period of 180 days from the date of opening of tenders
