SHORT TERM PECENATAGE TENDER NOTIFICATION

(Manual cum Electronic Tender System)

Percentage Tenders are invited manually or by Electronic tenders ( E-Tendering) completed in the prescribed from in Section I & II by ( PWG-65) are invited by the under signed on behalf of the Managing Director Karnataka Niravari Nigima Limited from contractors Registered with KPW/Enrolled in the select list of contractors of KNNL, who satisfy the conditions for the below mentioned work.  The tenders are through MANUAL or by ELECTRONIC TENDERING SYSTEM as per Government of Karnataka Circular 12-2-2004. While applying for the tender document the contractor shall invariably mentioned in their application whether they want to submit their tender by manually or by e-tender.

The blank tender document can be obtained through web-site www.knnlindia.com by linking to e-tender (i.e. once you are in the above web site, click on E-tender Wizard which will link to www.tenderwizard.com where electronic tendering is provided) and can be submitted through electronic tender box available there in

THE WORKS PUT TO TENDER

NOTE:-

1. The aspiring contractors who have not previously obtained the users ID and password for participating in e-tendering in KNNL may now obtain the same by requesting in writing to the registered office KNNL 4 th floor Coffee board Building No.1  Dr.B.R.Ambedakar Veedhi, Bangalore on 3-1-08 up to 5-30 PM.

2. The contractors can request for e-tendering documents on 07-01-2008 in the KNNL website www knnlindia.com and by linking to e-tender on payment of stipulated amount mentioned above i.e. of Rs. 28750-00 towards cost of e-tender document (Non-Refundable). while applying the contractor should enter the particulars of the payment like DD No. Date, Amount and Name of the Bank If payment is through e-payment go to e-payment link & enter the details required. The contractor who want to apply manually, they should apply to the Executive Engineer KNNL.GRBCC.Dn.No.2, Hidkal Dam on 07-01-2008 upto 5-30 PM.

3. The contractor who wants to apply for the above work should have carried out about 2000 RMT of NX size rotary diamond drilling during the year 2005-06 to 2006-07. If yes, they should produce work done certificate from competent authorities of the departments. Also to produce certificate regarding executed similar work with senior geologist.

MODE OF PAYMENT:
If payment by Demand Draft (DD):- DD should be drawn in favor of Executive Engineer., KNNL GRBCC.Dn No.2, Hidkal Dam on any Schedule Bank payable at S.B.M.Hukkeri The original DD should be submitted at following office during office hours.

a) Registered office KNNL , 4th floor ,Coffee board building , Dr.B.R.Ambedakar Veedhi , Bangalore-560001

b) Central office KNNL Wakmi Building Dhaarwad.

c) Chief Engineer KNNL Irrigation (North) zone Belgaum.

d) The Executive Engineer, KNNL. GRBCC.Dn.No.2, Hidkal Dam.

The following certificate shall be scanned and attached to e-tender document.

(1) Contractor enrollment letter No of KNNL/Registration Certificate from KPWD.
(2) Latest Clearance Income Tax Certificate.
(3) Karnataka State Sales Tax clearance certificate.
(4) Employees provident fund (EPF) Reg.Certificate.

All the above Original certificates shall be produced at the time of opening of tender for verification.

The contractor can have access to the e-tender form (Tender document) on 11-1-2008 upto 4-00 PM
The contractor who want to tender manually can get blank tender documents from the office of the under signed on 11-1-2008 upto 4-00 PM.

Last date for submission of completed tender document at following offices on 14-01-2008 upto 4-00 PM.

a) Registered office KNNL, 4th floor, Coffee building, No.4 ,Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Veedhi ,Bangalore 560001.

b) Central office KNNL Walmi building Dharward.

c) Chief Engineer, KNNL Irrigation (N) zone Belgaum.

d) Executive Engineer, KNNL GRBCC.Dn.No.2, Hidkal Dam

EMD shall be scanned and attached to the e-tender document and original EMD document shall be submitted in person to Executive Engineer, KNNL GRBCC.Dn.No 2, Hidkal Dam on or before 15-01-2008 upto 5-30 PM.

The tender documents will be opened in the office of the Managing Director KNNL, 4th floor coffee board building Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Vedhi Bangalore on 16-01-2008 at 11-00 AM. Or other convenient date which will be informed. If e tenders are not received the manual tenders will be opened in the office of the undersigned.

EMD should be in the form of DD or Banker's cheque or Bank Guarantee of a Nationalized or scheduled Bank drawn in favour of the " Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited" payable at State Bank of Mysore Hukkeri Branch.

Tenders received without valid EMD will be rejected.  The validity of EMD shall be for a period of 180 days (one hundred eighty) from the date of opening of tender.

The contractor to obtain tender documents from the website, fill them and submit the completed tender document in to Electronic tender box in the web-site it self.

Any document submitted through post/courier is at risk of contractor (i.e. KNNL is not responsible for postal delay or loss)

The contractor should attach his/her scanned signature to the Schedule - B before submitting.

If any of the dates mentioned above happen to be on the General Holiday. The Next working day will hold good.

Conditional tenders are liable to be rejected. The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the right to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason what so ever.
