PERCENTAGE TENDER NOTIFICATION.
(MANUAL CUM ELECTRONIC TENDERING SYSTEM)



            Sealed Percentage rate tenders are invited for the work noted below in the prescribed form under two cover bid system (as per KTTP Act 2000) consisting of Technical Bid (Cover No. 1) and financial Bid (Cover No.2).  These two cover shall be sealed separately and kept in another sealed cover duly super scribing name of work and shall be address to the undersigned with name and full postal address of bidder.  While applying for the tender the contractor shall invariably mention his option regarding submission of tender by manually or by e-tendering.

            The blank tender documents can be obtained through web site www, knnlindia, com and by linking to e-tender (i.e. once you are in the above website, click on e-Tender wizard, which will link to www , tender wizard, com where electronic tendering is provided) and can be submitted through electronic tender box available there in OR the blank tender documents can be obtained and submitted manually in the offices mentioned in the note (6).

STATEMENT SHOWING THE WORKS PUT TO TENDER.

NOTE:-          (1) Training on we-tendering will be conducted for the aspiring bidders at 11.00 a.m. on 28-02-2008 at the Registered Office at KNNL, Bangalore.  Aspiring Bidders who wish to undergo the training should submit their request in writing to the Managing Director on or before 28-02-2008 in office hours.

(2)       The aspiring contractors who have not previously obtained the User ID & Password for participating in e-tendering in KNNL, may now obtain the same by requesting in writing to the Registered Office, KNNL, Bangalore on 03-03-2008 up to 5.30 p.m.

3)         The Contractors can request for e-tender document from 04-03-2008 up to 5.30 p.m.   In the KNNL, website www knnlindia com link e-tender or in the offices mentioned in note (6) (for Manual Tendering) on payment of stipulated amount mentioned above.  The cost of tender document (Non refundable).  While applying the contractor should enter the particulars of the payment like number of the D.D. Date, amount and the name of the Bank or if payment is through e-payment go to e-payment link and enter the details required.    Mode of payment (i) Payment is by Demand draft (DD) : D.D. or Bankers Cheque drawn in favour of “Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited” on any Schedule Bank payable at Gokak DD should be submitted to the Executive Engineer, KNNL, GRBCC Division No.3, Gokak on 06-03-2008 up to 5.30 p.m.

(4)       The aspiring contractor enrolled in KNNL, Office should produce latest Income Tax Clearance Certificate Latest KST Clearance Certificate ( c ) The above certificate shall be scanned and attached to manual or e-tender document (d) The attested copies of the above certificate shall be submitted to the office of the undersigned on 06-03-2008 at 5.30 p.m.

(5)       The Contractors can have access to e-tender from (tender document)   10-03-2008 up to 5.30 p.m. only after receipt of tender documents cost.  The contractor who want to submit their complete tender by manually can get the tender documents from the office of the undersigned from    10-03-2008 up to 5.30 p.m.

 (6)      Last date for submission of completed e-tender document  13-03-2008 up to 4.00 P.M. manual tenders shall be submitted to the following office on     13-03-2008 up to 4.00 P.M.  (i) Registered Office Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited, 4th Floor Coffee Board Building No.1, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore – 560 001 (ii) Central Office Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited,  Walmi  Building, Dharwad, (iii) Chief Engineer, KNNL, Irrigation (North) Belgaum (iv) Superintending Engineer, KNNL, GRBCC Circle, Hidkal Dam (v) Executive Engineer, KNNL, GRBCC Division No.3, Gokak.

(7)       The Tender of the above works cover 1 & 2 will be opened  in the office of the Managing Director, KNNL, 4th Floor, Coffee Board Building No.1, Dr. B.R.Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore on15-03-2008 at 11.00 A.M. or other convenient date which will be informed.

(8)       EMD should in the form of DD, Banker Cheque or Bank Guarantee of a Nationalised or Schedule Bank drawn in favour of the Executive Engineer, KNNL, GRBCC Division No.3, Gokak payable at Gokak.   Tenders received without valid EMD shall be rejected.  The validity of EMD shall be for a period of 180 (One hundred eighty) days from the date of opening of tender.

(9)       The Contractor will obtain tender documents from the website fill them and submit then completed tender document into electronic tender in the website itself.  The EMD shall be scanned attached to the e-tender document and original EMD document shall be submitted in person to Executive Engineer, KNNL, GRBCC Division No.3, Gokak on or before 14-03-2008 at 11.00 A.M.

(10)     Any documents submitted through post / Courier is at the risk of Contractor (i.e., KNNL, is not responsible for postal delay / loss).

(11)     The contractor should attach his / her scanned signature to the Schedule ‘ B” before submitting.

 (12)    If any of the dates mentioned above happens to be a general holiday.  The next working day will holds good.

(13)     Further information can be had from the office of the undersigned during office hours.

 (15)    The officer competent to accept the tender shall have the rights to reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason whatsoever.

(16)     Corrigendum will be published in the website for all modification / correction if any the contractors who applied for manual tendering will be informed separately.

(17)     The intending contractors should note that, if any of the lands (either in part / parts or in whole) required for the work is not yet acquired by the Nigam it shall be the responsibility of the contractor to take the possession of such land and start the work by consent of the owners before commencement of work at no extra cost of the Nigam and no claims whatsoever relating to non availability of land would be entertained.
