  1. Sealed tenders in duplicate, duly superscribing the name of work are invited on
    turnkey basis by the Executive Engineer, KNNL, GRBCC Dn.No.4, Ghataprabha
    from the Contractors pre-qualified for taking up Lift Irrigation Scheme works on turn
    key basis under KNNL on behalf of the Managing Director, Karnataka Neeravari

  1. Application for tender documents will be received in the office of the Executive
    Engineer, KNNL, GRBCC Dn.No.4, Ghataprabha on 1st & 2nd July 2002 Up to 5.30 PM. The cost of the Blank Tender Booklets per set including KST and surcharge is Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen thousand only). It is not refundable and Shall be in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of Executive Engineer, KNNL, GRBCC Dn.No.4, Ghataprabha payable at Hukkeri State Bank of Mysore and shall be attached with the application.
  2. The blank tender documents will be issued in the Office of the Executive Engineer, KNNL. GRBCC Dn.. No.4, Ghataprabha on 15th and 16th July 2002 on Production of pre-qualification certificate for tendering Lift Irrigation works. The Completed tender documents will be received in the following offices-
    (i) Registered Office of KNNL, 4th floor, Coffee Board Building, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar veedhi, Bangalore-560 001
    (ii) Office of the Chief Engineer, KNNL, Irrigation (North), Club Road, Belgaum-590 001.
    (iii) Office of the Executive Engineer, KNNL, GRBCC Dn.No.4,Ghataprabha.
  3. A pre-bid conference will be held on 8th August 2002 at the Office of the Managing Director, KNNL, 4th Floor, coffee Board Building, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore- 560 001.
  4. The completed bids will be received at any of the above mentioned offices on 3rd to 4th September 2002 between 11.00 AM and 4.00 PM. The tender documents will be opened on 7-9-2002 at 11.00 AM or any other convenient day in the presence of the tenderers or their representatives by the Executive Engineer, KNNL, GRBCC
    Dn.No.4, Ghataprabha in his office.
  5. This office will not be responsible for any postal delay.
  6. The KNNL reserves the right of rejecting all or any of the tenders without assigning any reasons. If the rate(s) quoted by contractor for any item(s) of work is are below Seventy Five percent of the estimated rates of the Nigam then the successful contractor shall furnish an additional performance security in the form of Bank Guarantee for an amount equivalent to the difference between the cost as per
    Quoted percentage and 75% of the estimated rates. In case of contractor quoting rates Above 125% of the estimated rates, then the amount over and above 125% will be With-held during the progress of work.
  7. Any additional information / clarifications may be obtained from the office of
    the undersigned during office hours on working days.

    NOTE
    1) It may be noted that if any of the dates mentioned in the Notification happens to be a General or declared Holiday, next working day will hold good.
    2) Earnest money deposit (E.M.D.) shall be furnished in the form of Crossed Demand Draft, Bankers Cheque of Bank Gurrantee only drawn in favour Of Executive Engineer, Karnataka Neeravari Nigam Limited, GRBCC Dn.No.4, Ghataprabha . Tenders received without valid E.M.D. will be Rejected. The validity of E.M.D. shall be for minimum period of 90 days from the date of opening of the tenders and it should be in the format enclosed to tender booklets.
    3) The officer competent to accept the tenders shall have the right to reject the tender without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
    4) The completed tender bids in Section I & II should be submitted in Separate sealed covers. The cover should be superscribed with name of work, tender notification No. and date.
    5) The contractor should note their recent correct postal address in the declaration form.
    6) Incomplete tender documents will be rejected.
    7) Latest Income Tax clearance certificate should be produced while applying for the price bid document.
    8) All materials like Steel, Cement ect., required for completion of the above work should be procured by the contractor only. No departmental supply of above materials shall be made.
