The receipt of application, issue of blank
tender documents and receipt of the
Completed
tender documents will be at any of the following
offices.
1)
Office of the Executive Engineer, KNNL,
GNP Division, Mahagaon Cross,
Tq & Dist. Gulbarga
2)
Office of the Chief Engineer, WRD, IP Zone,
Gulbarga
3)
Registered Office of KNNL, 4th
Floor, Coffee Board Building No.1,
Dr. Ambedkar Veedhi, Bangalore – 560 001.
2.
White applying, the contractor should
clearly specify the office from where he
wishes
to collect the blank tender documents otherwise it
will be presumed
that he would be collecting the blank tender
documents from the office where
he had submitted his application.
4.
Cost of blank tender document per set is Rs.6,600/-
including KST.
The
above amount (Non-Refundable) shall be paid
in the form of Demand Draft
(DD) or Bankers cheque of a Nationalized /
Scheduled Bank drawn in favour
of The Executive Engineer, Karnataka Neeravari
Nigam Limited, GNP
Division, Mahagaon Cross” payable at State Bank
of Mysore, Super Market
Branch, Gulbarga and shall be attached with
the application.
5.
Last date of receipt of application for
tender document is 13-3-2002
up to
5.30 p.m
6.
The date for issue of blank tender document
is 3-4-2002 up to 5.30 p.m.
on
production of copy of valid enrolment certificate.
7.
Date for receipt of completed tender
document is 8-4-2002 up to
4.00 p.m.
8.
The tender will be opened in the office of
the Executive Engineer, KNNL,
GNP Division, Mahagaon Cross, on 10-4.2002 at
11.00 a.m. in the presence
of the tenderer or his representative.
9.
If any dates mentioned above happens to be
a General Holiday the next
Working
day will hold good.
10.
Further information may be had from the
office of the undersigned, during Offices
hours.
11.
Earnest Money Deposit shall be furnished in
the form of Demand Draft (DD)
or Bankers cheque or bank Guarantee of any
Nationalised / Scheduled Bank
Drawn in favour of “The Executive Engineer,
Karnataka Neeravari Nigam
Limited
GNP Division, Mahagaon Cross” payable at State
Bank of Mysore,
Super
Market Branch, Gulbarga, Tender received
without valid EMD will be
Rejected
the validity of EMD shall be a period of 90 days
from the date of
Opening
of the tenders.
12.
The contractor who purchases the blank
tender form should without fail
submit the
render (along with prescribed EMD) If he fails,
his name is liable to
be removed
from the select list of contractors and he would
not be eligible to
tender
for any work in future.
13.
The intending contractors should note that,
if any of the lands (either in part /
Parts
or in whole) required for the work is not yet
acquired by the Karnataka
Neeravari
Nigam Ltd., it shall be the responsibility of the
contractors to take
Possession
of such land and start the work by taking consent
of the owners
Before
commencement of work at no extra cost to the
Karnataka Neeravari
Nigam
Ltd., and no claims whatsoever relating to
non-availability of land
would be entertained.
14.
The KNNL reserves the right of accepting or
rejecting any or all the tenders
without
assigning any reason.
15.
The successful bidder shall have to produce
an additional Bank Guarantee for
the
difference amount below 25% (if the quoted rates
are below 25% of
estimated
rates) before executing the agreements with KNNL.
16.
Total cost of work on hand in KNNL with one
contractor should not exceed
Rs. 20 Crores (Rs. Twenty Crores) excluding
cost of any major works like
dam, lift irrigation ect., of specialized nature.
17.
The KNNL is not responsible for any postal
delay.
